About Us
Who We Are
The ARTfactory is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides programs in the arts for ages five and above which was founded in 1984 by a group of artists and art lovers with the goal of enriching the quality of life in the Northern Virginia region. In 2002, the ARTfactory relocated to the Hopkins Candy Factory building in Manassas and has become the cornerstone of the downtown arts community. Currently, we offer an art gallery, theatre arts, visual arts education, dance classes, Arts on the Go™, summer camps and SummerSounds Concert Series.
Our mission is to enrich the creative community by: Engaging people of all ages, celebrating diversity, fostering innovation, and cultivating collaboration and communication. We strive to fulfill our mission by making art and art education accessible to all members of our community through quality programming.

Supporting ARTfactory through membership helps us maintain our visual & performing arts programs, whether here at the ARTfactory, or through community outreach. Our programs are accessible to everyone, including Arts on the Go & ARTful Wellness.
Memberships also support our Caton Merchant Gallery exhibits, artist events, and our Summersounds Concert Series which are always free to the public, in addition to our Pied Piper Theatre and Rooftop Productions shows.

ARTfactory is located in the center of Historic Downtown Manassas at 9419 Battle Street.
Hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays 10 AM – 5 PM and Sundays 12 – 5 PM
ARTfactory is Closed: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Thanksgiving & Black Friday, Dec. 24 & 25
