Pied Piper Theatre’s 3-Week Actor’s Intensive

The time is now to bring a new and innovative approach to your acting skills! Our all new 3-week Actor’s Intensive provides aspiring actors with intensive hands on training in advanced acting techniques, improvisation, character development and Shakespeare.  Training in stage combat and sword technique is also emphasized.  This dynamic workshop integrates the use of the stage voice to promote enunciation, projection, and musicality in your delivery while working with scenes and monologues. This is the time to broaden your core skills with training from our directors and guest artists so you will be ready for your high school or college auditions, PPT auditions, or your Governor’s School auditions.  Scene work, including stage combat, will be filmed for an online presentation for family and friends as well as for use in your actor’s portfolio.

We have been given the opportunity to accomplish this transformation at ARTfactory’s satellite arts’ facility, Windy Knoll Farm in Nokesville, just two blocks from the intersection of Rt.28 and Fitzwater Dr.  This expansive facility offers a large indoor studio with plenty of space to maintain social distancing, a large wrap around porch for eating lunch, a patio space for rehearsal, and acres of pristine grounds to practice our stage combat and have some fun.  Our Actor’s Intensive will be at Windy Knoll Farm from Monday-Thursday and students will come to the ARTfactory in Manassas on Fridays. Mask are required for actors and for parents dropping off and picking up. For ages 10-18
