Rooftop Productions Auditions for The Curse of Huxley Manor

Join us as Rooftop Productions presents an evening of murder and mayhem as we premiere The Curse of Huxley Manor staged at the Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, VA and set in the 1930’s.  It’s an original whodunit written by Ted Ballard.  Lord and Lady Huxley, despite the legend of a curse and string of strange occurrences at the old manor, are having a large dinner party. However before the salads are served Lord Huxley is found deceased by unnatural causes. Enter Sherlock Homes and D. Watson to solve the case and with the assistance of dinner guests identify and arrest the guilty party and the Curse of Huxley Manor.

Cast Breakdown

Sherlock Holmes – The great detective, but not as great as many believe.

Dr. Watson – Holmes sidekick, but the actual, brains of the duo.

Lady Huxley – matronly, upper crust lady of the manor. Always maintains her dignity except when she becomes hysterical.

Percy – son of Lord and Lady Huxley. Stiff upper lip and all that rot.

Pricilla – daughter of Lord and Lady Huxley. Flighty with a touch of daftness.

Jeeves the Butler – Typical formal English butler, with the name Jeeves.

Rosie the Maid – Not the brightest of the group. Cockney if possible.

Aschu the Gardener – Somewhat brighter than Rosie, but always losing his pruning shears
