Pied Piper Theatre Announces Auditions for 12 Angry Jurors, A PPT Conservatory Production

Are you a passionate young actor looking to take your craft to the next level? Pied Piper Theatre is seeking talented individuals to join our upcoming production of 12 Angry Jurors.

12 Angry Jurors is adapted from the television movie by Reginald Rose by Sherman Sergel that follows a jury of twelve individuals as they deliberate the fate of a young person accused of murder. Initially, eleven jurors are convinced of the defendant’s guilt, but one juror, the lone holdout, casts doubt on the evidence presented. Through intense discussions and arguments, the jurors gradually begin to question the assumptions they had made, leading to a surprising verdict. The play explores themes of justice, prejudice, and the power of individual conviction.

This conservatory-style production offers a unique opportunity to work with experienced professionals in a rigorous and demanding environment.

Twelve-Angry-Jurors-Character-Breakdown

Requirements:

* Strong acting skills

* Commitment to a serious and intense rehearsal process

* Ability to work well in a collaborative ensemble

To audition:

* Please prepare a one minute monologue from a play.

* Be prepared to read from the script.

Auditions:  Monday and Wednesday, March 3 and 5 between 6 and 8 pm.

Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 beginning March 10.

Tech Week begins Monday, April 28 and continues through March 1 from 6-9 pm.

Ticketed Performances are Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3 at 7 pm and Sunday, March 4 at 2 pm.

There will be no participation fee for this production.
