Lights, Camera: Dance!

This Broadway style dance class for 8-13 year olds is designed to introduce the basics of musical theatre dance. We will start with a warm-up to get the body moving, then move into a combination of simple steps and more complex choreography. We will focus on teaching the fundamentals of musical theatre dance, such as isolations, jazz steps, and musicality. We will also incorporate improvisation and basic partner work to help the students become more comfortable with the movements. The class will end with a fun dance game or a group dance. Through this class, the students will gain an appreciation for musical theatre dance and have a great time learning it!

Note:  Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors should wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk.  Class size will be limited for social distancing.  We continue to show vigilance in cleaning and sanitizing our facilities.

Class Duration: Three Days,  Wednesday-Friday.  The first day of class is Wednesday, July 5  and runs through Friday, July 7 from 12-4  pm
