The Art of Relief Printmaking
Discover the exciting art of relief printmaking (also known as linocut or block printing) in this hands on, inspiring class.
Over four weeks, you will design, carve and ink your own block, turning simple materials into bold, beautiful prints. You will begin with a creative foam plate printing and learn essential design basics, including inverse planning. Then, advance to linocut carving, plate inking, and troubleshooting techniques.
The course concludes with printing your work and sharing discoveries in a group insight session. No experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and passion for making art.
Join a welcoming studio, gets hands on, and leave with original prints and skills which you can continue outside the classroom!
