Disney Newsies
Disney Newsies: The Broadway Musical is a high-energy, crowd-pleasing Broadway hit inspired by the true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike in New York City. The show follows Jack Kelly, a charismatic young newsboy who rallies his fellow “newsies” to stand up against powerful publishing giants after unfair price hikes threaten their livelihoods. Bursting with thrilling choreography, rousing anthems, and heartfelt moments, Newsies celebrates the power of youth, friendship, and collective action, delivering an uplifting story about finding your voice and fighting for what’s right.
Performances will be held in the Gregory Family Theatre at Hylton Performing Arts Center.
