Join Kim on Sunday, August 10, 2-4 pm for an insider’s look at crafting a powerful speech—from inspiration to execution—as she shares her journey, creative process, and lessons learned from the stage. Light refreshments available.
Kim B Miller is a formidable spoken word poet/haikuist, captivating audiences with her bold words and sparking change through her passionate delivery.
Kim is a dynamic and inspiring speaker recognized for her ability to foster growth and empower audiences.
Kim delivered her first TEDx Talk in May 2025. She most recently served as the keynote speaker for the 2025 S.E.A.L. Awards at Northern Virginia Community College and the 2025 Women’s Leadership Summit at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
She was the keynote speaker at the Rappahannock Writer’s Conference at Germanna Community College, VA (2023) and a speaker at the 2023 Journal of Curriculum Theorizing Annual Conference in Dayton, Ohio. In 2021, Kim was a commencement speaker for Bard High School Early College DC.
