Actors Theatre at the ARTfactory 2026 Open Season Auditions
Actors Theatre open season auditions will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026 and Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4-9 PM, with dance calls on February 7, 2026 at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 1 PM. Callbacks will be held by invitation on February 8.
All roles are available and paid a stipend. Seeking Non-union actors for the following productions:
Disney Newsies (Performance dates: June 5-21) Directed by Caroline Scarborough
Beyond Therapy (Performance dates: July 24-August 2) Directed by David Johnson

Audition Format: Please prepare a 60 second monologue and two contrasting 30 second cuts of a song in any style. More information for each specific production can be found on our registration page. Click the link below.
Youth auditions (Ages 15 and under) for roles in Disney Newsies will be held on January 30 & 31 during PPT’s Oliver! auditions. Callbacks will be February 7 or 8. Please see Oliver! audition information below. Register for an audition date & time by clicking the button below.

Auditions are now Via Video Submission!
Due to the current weather-related travel conditions and the possibility of an additional winter weather forecast for Friday and Saturday, we want to ensure that everyone has an equal and fair opportunity to audition for Newsies and Oliver. With that in mind, we are asking all auditionees to submit a video audition instead of attending in person. Please note: if you have not registered to audition, please do so using the link below as well as submitting via video.
Deadline: Please upload your link no later than 11:59 pm Saturday, January 31.

Audition Format: Please prepare one 30 second cut of a song in the style of the show. Please prepare (1) 60 second memorized monologue. Be prepared to dance. Please wear appropriate shoes and attire for the dance portion of the audition.
Performance dates: Saturday, May 9 at 2 and 7 and Sunday, May 10 at 2 pm.
Rehearsals will be on Mondays and Wednesdays at Baldwin Elementary beginning February 9 from 6-8 pm and Saturdays at the ARTfactory from 9:30-1 pm. Tech week is May 4 – 7 from 6 – 10 pm at the Hylton Performing Arts Center (Monday through Thursday).
